WWF-Malaysia sincerely thanks the students and teachers of Mont’Kiara International School Green Club for raising and donating RM3,000 to our nature conservation efforts through their Conservation Week activities in April.
During Conservation Week, the students learned more about the importance of forest and orang-utan conservation, encouraged people to bring unwanted books for sale, sold plants, as well as undertook composting of coffee beans from the cafeteria to use as fertiliser in the campus garden.
Mont’Kiara International School’s generous donation will help efforts to protect our forests, rivers, seas and wildlife. We all need nature for clean air, fresh water, food security, climate change mitigation, and to sustain livelihoods. Saving nature means safeguarding our future.
