While today marks World Veterinary Day, we are grateful every single day of the year for the amazing contributions of our vets and their counterparts around the world.

Whether caring for companion animals, exotic animals, large animals or livestock, or leading the way in science and research, the veterinary field is full of professional and personal challenges.

For Soi Dog’s vet team, these challenges include treating homeless animals whose injuries and illnesses are many and whose medical history is unknown. Guiding them through complex rehabilitation and providing them with an ongoing quality of life. Being gentle in their care yet tough in their decisions. And knowing that tomorrow, they will walk through the hospital doors and do it all over again.

It’s their resilience, their compassion and the strength of your support that gets them through. Here’s to vets everywhere, every day ❤️

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals. Soi Dog also has a treatment facility in Bangkok and responds to crisis situations throughout Thailand.
