Our second physical event of 2022! 🎉

We participated in MRCS X BFI market event on the 25th to 27th March from 10am-8pm at Rumah Tangsi to showcase handmade batik products from the women community in Kemaman. The proceeds of sale goes to supporting local entrepreneurs as well as for turtle conservation efforts.

We were also honoured to have the chairman of Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS), her Highness Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz supporting our initiatives.

Thank you to @buyforimpact for extending the invitation and to @malaysianredcrescent for organising the event. We had the pleasure of meeting many amazing local SMEs and nonprofits and we look forward to continuously supporting one another.

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
