Since Gasing is closed and we don’t know when it will reopen, we have to bring our dogs to other clinics where we are required to pay up front and also buy some of the meds that they dont carry.

1) On Wed one of our doggos Dale chewed on his front limb. Dale was rescued with serious injuries and fractures on the leg. Vet said it did not require amputation and will heal as Dale was young. We believe he experiences some pain, especially when the weather is cold. This time around he chewed his leg badly when our workers were busy preparing food. Since Gasing was closed, we took him to Yeoh where the leg was treated. The vet said, there may be a need for amputation but we will try to avoid that.

2) Happy requires admission and three jabs of

Erythropoeitin injections which we have to buy elsewhere. Yeoh Veterinary Clinic is charging RM800 for admission. She will be admitted this afternoon.

The bill has already reached to almost RM1,500. Yeoh Vet does not want direct transfers. Thus if you are able to help, we would be grateful if you could direct your contribution to our account. Thanking you in advance and herewith the details:

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better

Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better is a canine welfare programme initiated by non-profit organisation Community Development and Integration Initiative (CDII).

MDDB's main activities revolve around rescuing dogs from the local council pounds as well as off the streets. Once they have been rescued, the dogs are vaccinated and neutered before being put up for adoption.
