Our Uncle Brian Is A True Survivor. We Found Him I..

Our Uncle Brian is a true survivor. We found him in a government shelter in the northeast of Thailand in 2019 where he and thousands of other dogs had been rounded up following an exaggerated rabies scare. We brought him and many others to our shelter in the south for their safety.

In the very same year, Uncle Brian was lucky enough to fly to Toronto, Canada after being chosen by Snookie’s Society, one of our amazing partner rescues there. Shortly after, he was whisked away to a loving home where he started a new life with a new name – Doogal! He’s been surrounded with love and doggie mates ever since.🏠

We recently received a lovely update from his adopter. Here’s what she had to say:

“Here are some pictures of Doogal with his friends, Leroy (dachshund) and Jackie (yellow raincoat) and his girlfriend, Skyle (fluffy cream with huge smile) who he is totally enamoured with💕 Doogal is very happy and complete and loves car rides (He watches everything!) He is so loved and our little downtown community know him and Jackie and so many people think they are brother and sister and a lot of people think he is part Corgi! Jackie has great affection for him and she never lets him go out without making sure his ears are cleaned and she’s given him the once over.”

Uncle Brian’s #furrytailending story is certainly a whirlwind! In a matter of months, he went from a government shelter in Thailand to a loving home in Canada. We are thrilled knowing he gets to spend his golden years in bliss.✨
