This 10-year-old Rottweiler is called Queenie. Her family had to immigrate to another country, so they decided to put her up on adoption. What they didn’t know is that Queenie’s too old for most people and nobody wanted to adopt her. Her owner decided to send her to the vet and “put to sleep” (PTS). After we had a talk with the vets, we decided to postpone her fated day and try our best to find another new family for her (T&C applied).

Luckily, with the help of other volunteers, we found a kind and caring family for Queenie.

(note) The animal welfare volunteers spent a lot of time and money to save the strays, and yet countless owners have their own reasons to abandon sick or old pets and leave the animals alone to die. We always have to halt our progress and deal with these morality problems for other cold-hearted people.

这只名叫 Queenie 十岁的洛威拉犬，因为主人要移民国外，打算送给其他人领养。

但他却不知道十多岁的狗狗算是很老的狗狗，根本没有人会要领养牠，他主人也打算把牠送去兽医所”安乐死”(PTS)，我们和兽医决定暂缓牠的死期几天，尽能力再为牠找个领养人(需符合条件)

幸运地，在其他义工的帮忙下，很快的我们为牠找到了一位愿意照顾牠的善心人。

(注)动物义工们已经在拯救浪浪消耗了无数的时间和金钱，无奈还面对无数被主人弃养的老狗和病狗，动物义工们往往在这个道德的交义路口前停住了首进的脚步。

The Ipoh Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (The ISPCA), is a non-profit organisation formed under the Societies Act, 1966 of Malaysia. We are affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), London.

Our no-kill Shelter is located at Lot 38642, 4 1/2 Milestone, Jalan Gopeng, 31300 Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia and nestles amongst beautiful limestone hills. Currently we are guardian to approximately 250 dogs and 80 cats at our Shelter.
