Interested To Do Part-Time Work With Wwf-Malaysia?..

Interested to do part-time work with WWF-Malaysia? The Marine Programme is looking for an individual who is interested to join us in our turtle bycatch project in Terengganu from December 2020 to October 2021. We are looking for someone passionate, curious-minded and able to work smart and independently.

This Field Assistant would assist the WWF-Malaysia Terengganu team in:

🔹Data collection onboard fishing boats (Kerteh, Paka and Geliga)

🔹Co-manage field assistants with team leader

🔹Sorting, key-in and analyse bycatch data

🔹Drafting bycatch onboard observation reports

🔹Assist the Department of Fisheries in managing turtle stranding

🔹Assist the team with other work when needed

.

Requirements:

🔹Well-versed in Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge in the Terengganu dialect is a plus

🔹Able to communicate well with fishermen and local communityies

🔹Ability to adapt to the motion of a boat or a ship

.
