Here is the update that many of you have been waiting for! We are so happy to share handsome, sweet and gentle Jameson’s progress with you. Jameson’s story goes like this…

A terrible trauma changed Jameson’s life forever. For both of his eyes to pop out of the sockets like this, brave and adorable Jameson must have experienced a major blow to his head. It is impossible to say whether this was due to a car accident or a deliberate attack, but sadly, his eyes could not be saved and the vets had to remove them immediately. Unfortunately, he was also suffering from a blood parasite and had to be monitored for brain damage. He had a lot of healing to do, both inside and out.

Despite such enormous trauma, and only because of the wonderful kindness of dog fans like you, Jameson has come SO far. And with your help, we can continue to be there for this beautiful three-year-old boy every step of the way – especially as he continues to adapt to a sightless future.

Of course, it is a big adjustment for him, but he is such a superstar because every walk he goes on he gains a little more confidence. And with the help of the Soi Dog team, we are hopeful that Jameson will continue to go from strength to strength. It really is only because of kind people like you that Jameson got the urgent care he needed and now has a much-deserved second chance at life.

The other truly exciting news is that Jameson has been cleared by our vets and behaviour team for adoption, and we are now taking applications from people like YOU who would like to offer this special boy a home. 🎉🎈After all he has been through, he really deserves a wonderful forever family to love him forever more. 🧡
