Yesterday Morning, Our Volunteer Witnessed A Dog G..

Yesterday morning, our volunteer witnessed a dog got hit by a lorry on a fast lane at Bandar Baru Selayang. So he pulled over. Another two cars driven by Mr Shakkthi and En Nizam too pulled over to help the dog. This is what we called true Malaysian spirit, Malay, Chinese and Indian working together helping a distressed stray. The dog then was sent to our panel, KM Vet at Batu Caves.

This was the update yesterday by our vet :

Good evening, Dr. Aimi here, Rocky is still in critical condition, not much improvement. Just that the temperature is now normal. We are managing him with oxygen therapy, drops and medication ( injection ).

And this is the latest update today :

Latest update on Rocky – 9/10/20 @ 6pm

Currently he’s stable and on IV medication. Will be under further supervision to see whether he response to the medication given.

Unfortunately the hospital is out of stock of a particular medication which treats his brain edema/hemorrhage.

According to Dr.Aimi, she will update us tomorrow whether she can get the meds.

If she unable to restock the medication, we have to relocate Rocky to a 24 hours hospital.
