Two fluffy male siblings were dumped last night. We have a cage upfront the shelter but people still release unwanted cats around our property. These cats are healthy, fluffy and a little chubby. Clearly they have been owned. Shelters are not the place for preloved cats. Animals are part of your family once you have started caring for them.They are not second hand goods that you can just chuck away. They have feelings too.

The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic - a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals.
