“This is Popeye. He’s a sweet, playful, and energetic puppy here in Langkawi, Malaysia. He has a great temperament and gets along with other dogs. He is a bit shy at first but warms up quickly and is very loving. He also likes snuggles and lap time.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with him again today while volunteering at LASSie (Langkawi Animal Shelter & Sanctuary).”

If you would like to volunteer with us, please turn up any day of the week at 10.15am. Our dogs and cats will be forever grateful! 🐾

The Langkawi Animal Shelter and Sanctuary Foundation is set-up to receive, rehabilitate and care for neglected, abused and needy animals. The organization also runs the Langkawi Island Animal Clinic - a charity project aimed at the sterilization of the stray cat & dog population. Both are non profit ventures, staffed partly by volunteers and aimed at improving the lives of unwanted animals.
