A big THANK YOU to our terrapin adopters!

Each time you adopt a terrapin, you’re helping us purchase a microchip. (Instead of giving our terrapins names, we give them a phone number, how cool is that?)

We’ll insert a microchip into the terrapins before we release them into the river, so that when they return to nest (insyaAllah), we will be able to identify the individuals!⁠

Turtle Conservation Society

The Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia was established in October 2011. The aim of the society is to bring about the recovery of depleted wild populations of turtles, with particular reference to freshwater turtles, in Malaysia through partnerships with like-minded organizations, individuals and local communities as well as through its own programs.
