40 SECONDS AT ACRES: DAY 40 OF THE #CIRCUITBREAKER

As Singapore slowly opens up after this #circuitbreaker, here is an aptly timed feature of a rescued #MalayanBoxTurtle coming out of his/her shell too!

Malayan box turtles are one of the native species of #turtles in #Singapore. When we rescue a box turtle, we always observe them in a native turtle #rehabilitation enclosure, to ensure that they are injury free, shy and feed naturally on locally available diet. The turtle in this video would have been released back to the wild, by the time you get to watch this clip. This clip is 4X sped up, and that just shows how shy these wild animals are.
