I came to Soi Dog after I was hit by a car in a busy part of town. In shock, I darted from the scene of the accident into a nearby restaurant and cowered under a table. When the adrenaline wore off, I realised I couldn’t stand up. My right hind leg was wounded and badly fractured, and the manager called for help.

At Soi Dog’s cat hospital, my leg was fitted with screws and a plate, but the deep wound refused to heal, and the vets had no option but to amputate. You might think this sounds like some sort of nightmare, but I breathed a big, happy sigh of relief because I was no longer in pain.

I adapted quickly to the amputation and, as you can see, I can still walk, run, jump and pounce with the best of them. Us cats are agile creatures, whether we’re on four legs or three.

I don’t mind the other cats I live with here at the shelter, but it would be nice to have my own space with my very own human. I’m a gentle boy who just wants to be by your side. Watching a movie? I’ll be there. Doing the housework? Allow me to supervise. Someone at the front door? Let me come along and say hello too!
