Seeking a Veterinary Assistant for full-time employment!

• 6-day work week from 9am – 4pm

Training will be provided. Experience is preferred but not necessary.

Job Description

• Feed medication to hospitalised our boarded dogs and cats as needed

• Restrain pets for veterinarian

• Prepare surgical equipment including folding gauze, sterilising surgical equipment, and packing surgical equipment

• Clean clinic facilities (including exam room, surgery room, and doctor’s office)

• Perform other duties as assigned by the veterinarian

Skills Required

• Able to perform tasks in an organised and efficient manner

• Able to communicate with the veterinarian regarding the health status of animals

• Able to work in a group

• Able to receive and perform instructions

• Caring towards animals

• Righteousness

PAWS

PAWS was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 400 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS include one veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time personnel. The organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organized and run by volunteers.
