We Are So Excited To Let You Know That At The End ..

We are so excited to let you know that at the end of January 2020, thanks to your generous support, Soi Dog Foundation had sterilised a whopping total of 399,460 dogs and cats.🎊

Our spay and neuter programme or CNVR, which stands for Catch Neuter Vaccinate and Return, began in Phuket in 2003, where our shelter is based and has been responsible for over a 90% reduction of stray dog population on the island.

And, only one Rabies incident had been reported on the island, in the last 15 years.

Read more about CNVR here: https://www.soidog.org/content/spay-neuter-and-vaccination-cnvr#utm_source=14022020&utm_medium=facebook&utm_campaign=cnvr2020&utm_term=mkt&utm_content=Link1

Over the years, with no government funding but relying solely on donations from fantastic people like you, the programme extended to other parts of the country.

In 2015, with your continuing help as well as Dogs Trust UK, we started a long term project in the nation’s capital Bangkok, with the aim of reducing the over population of street dogs there, which is estimated to be at least several hundred thousands.

We continued to expand CNVR clinics to other areas of Thailand, including Pattaya and Nakhon Sri Thammarat

CNVR is the most effective if not the only proven humane method to curb the over population of companion animals such as dogs and cats.

It is also at the heart of what Soi Dog Foundation stands for and this month which is #SpayandNeuterAwarenessMonth we want to share exciting information about CNVR which runs quietly in the back ground of everything we do.

Keep an eye on our social media channels for what we have in store for you.

Help us end the suffering of animals in Asia.
