Eat! But Not Too Much.

Here’s my (as always) very simple Chinese New Year “hoi lin” (welcoming the year, on the 2nd day of CNY) lunch.

First and foremost, an inspection by Tabs.

I cooked everything except for the Lou Sang which was compliments of Ming-Yi and Yui Ping.

This raw salad is from a Myanmar recipe (by word of mouth). Everything is raw. My first time trying – and I have now forgotten what I added into it! LOL! But everyone loved it, so live in the moment, folks! You cannot step into the same river twice.

The simpler, the better – the motto of a lazy cook!
Oh, there’s egg as well (forgot to take the photo).

Soup is always good.
Eat!
(but not too much!)
Xin Nian Kuai Le, Shen Ti Jiang Kang!
(Happy New Year, Good health to you!)
