Earlier this morning, we unveiled a new coffee table book with our guest of honour, Mr Douglas Pungga, Bukit Mabong District Officer, at SMA Creative Heritage Innovation Centre, Kuching, Sarawak.

The book entitled “Warna-Warni Borneo – Panda CLICK! Bersama Masyarakat Kapuas Hulu, Kalimantan Barat dan Kapit, Sarawak”, provides readers with photographic insights into the daily lives of rural communities from Kapuas Hulu and Kapit. This is a book by communities through their eyes and lenses.

It is hoped that through this coffee table book, people can see the importance of nature and how people can and should be managing their natural resources sustainably, alongside with other stakeholders towards a green economy in the Heart of Borneo.

This event is made possible with the support from the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety for supporting the publication.
