Indy And The Cowboys

His right eye is not back to normal yet, but there is some improvement.

I made a decision and started Indy on Metronidazole this morning.

This loose stool problem has been ongoing for too long now. Obviously, something is wrong in his gut.  I’m going with the vet’s hypothesis that there is bacteria overgrowth there as that does account for the foul-smelling loose stools.  Being on raw food, there should be very little stools. But Indy is defecating more than he “should”. If this goes on, eventually, he would be losing protein.

We have given natural methods a fair chance already and they cannot seem to solve the problem.

I hope the antibiotics work.  And I hope I am making the right decision.
