Although poor Khamming just lost most of her tail, she wags her stump in enthusiastic appreciation whenever someone is kind to her. This might be the first time anyone ever has been.
Her gentle brown eyes tell the story of a punishing life as a homeless dog – one of millions in Thailand. Right now, will you please ensure with your gift that we can always help injured, homeless animals like Khamming?https://bit.ly/Saving_Khamming
We can’t know exactly how this sweet 10-year-old injured her tail. It could have been ripped off in a dogfight, or Khamming might have gotten it caught somewhere and injured herself trying to get free. Since maggots had begun to nest in the wound, she was likely wandering in pain for quite a while.
But now, thanks to animal lovers like you, Khamming has gotten the medical care she needs. Sadly, her badly mangled tail had to be amputated. She’s safe now in our shelter, where she’s eating nutritious food and sleeping safely and soundly while she receives ongoing care.
Dogs like Khamming have no one but you to care – your gift now will help make sure they will always have a place to go when injury or illness befalls them. https://bit.ly/Saving_Khamming
