#ReplaceCullingWithNeutering (Eng version below)

Working hard together for implementation #ReplaceCullingWithNeutering

We are grateful to the State Assemblyman from Potian District YB Yeo Tung Siong for inviting us to discuss about the stray animal issues 🙏🙏

He believed that it should be resolved in a more humane way, and will help to fight for the implemention of Replacing Culling with Neutering. Thank you so much YB!

The officers of the Pontian District Council also intend to stop the culling of these stray furry kids, but they need to have better alternatives and take in many considerations, we are hoping that everything will go smoothly.

We have also submitted the “Memorandum of 10 Petitions to Government: Stray Animal Issues” to YB, including legislation to make the neutering and microchip compulsory among domestic animals, regulation of pet breeding, low-cost animal health services provided by government, TNRM, etc.

We are also very grateful to Dr. Nadzirah, one of our long-time panel veterinarians, and her assistant Tanisha for accompanying the volunteer team to attend the conversation, explaining from a medical point of view, why the neutering is really much more effective than the culling.
