姑娘是我们八月份救援的可憐母浪浪

因為沒結紮 亂交配 她得了严重的性病(TVT)

看見她時 阴部挂着红红一條的肉瘤

身子真的好瘦好瘦

雖然病重 姑娘的自我保護意識還是很強烈

举报人没办法之下只好求助于我们

两个義工 和平時照顧她的工友

都狠狠被她咬傷过

经过三个月的治疗 姑娘已经痊愈了

住在園裡的她 變成了漂亮的大姑娘

園區內，3000多隻毛孩需要照顧

園區外，結紮和救援工作不曾停下

A simple spaying or neutering procedure would stop hundreds of tragedies!

When the strays are sterilized , young innocent lives would not be brought to this world, the male dogs would not get into brutal fights to get the female dogs on heat, both male and female doggies would not be infected with sexual diseases.

Gu Niang is a female stray rescued in August. As she was not spayed, she got infected with a serious disease ,TVT, because of uncontrolled mating.When we saw her , there was a reddish tumor on her private part. She was thin and skinny.

Though she was sick, her self-protecting instincts kicked in that the two volunteers and the worker who took care of her previously was bitten by her.

After 3 months of treatment, she has now recovered and is currently staying in shelter. She has now grown into a beautiful lady.

There are more than 3000 furkids in the shelter. Outside the shelter , the efforts of rescuing and sterilizing the strays have never stopped. The public’s help rendered to us and the furkids is something that keeps us going.

Homeless & Orphan Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a non-profit organization and no-kill shelter that aims to improve welfare of strays and abandoned pets around Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

Our four core missions are rescuing, re-homing, sterilization and increasing public awareness of pet ownership and responsibilities. Currently, we are caring for approximately 700 abandoned animals in our shelter located at Lima Kedai.
