Our Whispers

This dog was found in a commercial area in Kuching. It is believed that the mother dog was abandoned immediately after given birth. The dog was discovered by an experienced volunteer, and brought into her care. Volunteer spayed the female dog.

During the recovery stage after her spaying surgery, the dog managed to escape many times from her cage and house compound.

The dog has been seen searching for her puppies daily eversince then. She would travel to the commercial center where she was abandoned by her ex-owner, and to the residential estates. In the evening, she would return to volunteer’s house for food. After meal, the dog continues to search for her puppies.

It is very heartbreaking to see this dog’s daily routine. Please do no separate mother dog from her puppies during the weaning stage. Imagine and human mother being separated from her child after delivery.

We are just so tired of people abandoning adult dogs. It is just heartbreaking to hear the stories of why people want to get rid of their dogs, but to welcome new younger puppies in to this homes. It is horrible and we just could not understand.
