Sharks Can Be 'Social Or Solitary'

SHARKS HAVE PERSONALITIES TOO!
Yesterday was Sharks Awareness Day!
Here is a little sharing from Naomi Clark-Shen a marine conservationist:
“It is mostly mammals who are acknowledged as having personalities, but did you know that #sharks do as well?
Some sharks like to consistently socialise with other sharks, while others are more ‘#introvert’ and like to hang out alone. Another study even found that they have certain ‘#bestfriends’ whom they hang out with more than others!
Sharks and other fish are not mindless creatures, and this calls for greater consideration of their welfare – both in captivity and as food.

A UK study finds that the most feared predators in the sea have individual personalities, which determine how readily they socialise.
