UPDATE: RESCUE MISSION IN FULL SWING!

Two days ago, we told you of our urgent mission to help the dogs who were about to be killed at the notorious municipal pound in Targu Neamt, Romania. Thanks to the incredible support of all of you, our rescuer on the ground and our team of volunteers have been working around the clock, to secure foster places, submit adoption papers and arrange transport to get as many of these darling dogs out to safety.

Your donations absolutely meant the difference between life and death for these dogs. Although these photos are not glamorous, please enjoy these quick snapshots of just a few who are now safe in a rescue kennel. Yes, it’s very basic, but it’s the best short-term holding spot we could secure in a hurry, and in the months, the dogs will find their forever homes and have fluffy beds to sleep on and families who adore them.
