Today I said goodbye to my beautiful boy Shepo and this is a tribute to him…

You did great. You stood by my side for so long old boy. Thank you for all the love, dedication and stumpy tail wagging. I promised you that when the time came, I will be brave and I will put you first and so even though I was not ready to let you go, I honoured my promise. Eating mandarins will never be the same and I’ll always picture you drooling in anticipation of your share. I will miss you more than words can ever say. Rest in peace my shadow. <3 <3

I was born overseas and grew up in Lebanon. About 9 years ago, I left my family and friends behind to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian in Australia.

I have now been out in practice for the past 5 years. I absolutely love being involved with all types of animals and consider it my "calling". Whilst my job can be quite an emotional rollercoaster ride, I cannot fathom doing anything else for as long as I am living. I simply feel blessed every day that I am practicing what I truly love.
