April 4 is the day to give special attention to the stray animals in the world. Dogs and cats should have a home. But stray dogs and stray cats don’t. They lead poor and miserable lives on the streets. They are often illfed, suffer from extreme heat or cold, and suffer from diseases. Even more often, they’re being chased around by hostile and violent people.

April 4 is the day to show compassion, take care, and get into take action for stray animals all over our planet.

If you’re feeding strays, please be reminded that not use plastic or pilystyrene food packs while feeding strays to avoid leaving unnecessary mess.

The Sarawak SPCA's mission is to act as an advocate on behalf of animals and as an enforcer of their rights; to provide for the well-being of the animals of the State of Sarawak who are abandoned, injured, subjected to unfair or cruel treatment, or otherwise in need; to cultivate in the people of our community an awareness of the animals whose world we share; to promote a bond of mutual assistance between people and animals; and to instill respect for and appreciation of all living things.
