‘Smokey’ came in for a check up and to assess his response to his new medication to treat an overly active thyroid. He’s put on weight and hopefully his blood test results confirm he’s responding well. He is a rescue kitten they have fostered from 3 days old and now he’s 12 years old. I was born overseas and grew up in Lebanon. About 9 years ago, I left my family and friends behind to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian in Australia.
