Seeing this handsome old boy absolutely made my day last week. ‘Shadow’ had bid me farewell last year as he moved interstate. You can imagine my shock when I saw him run to greet me in the waiting room 7 months later. He’s a very well managed 14 year old diabetic that’s also had cataract surgery. I was born overseas and grew up in Lebanon. About 9 years ago, I left my family and friends behind to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian in Australia.
