Hello there. My name is Famingo. Despite a tough start in life, I am a cheery pooch who is looking for a home to call my own. No-one knows how I injured my front leg. It was swollen and very painful and I couldn�t put any weight on it. But I had to carry on, hopping around in search of food and shelter, because this is the life for a street dog.

A kind local person told Soi Dog Foundation about me, and I was brought to the safety of the shelter here in Phuket, Thailand. Unfortunately, the vets were not able to save my leg. But that�s ok – I am no longer in pain and it�s amazing how well I get around on three legs!

I have a sunny attitude and I wear a goofy smile almost every minute of the day. I enjoy my walks and would walk all day if I could, but sometimes I have to be reminded to take it easy on my three legs. I take my time to enjoy the outside world – I seek out new scents and lie in the grass and I enjoy saying hello to other dogs that pass by. After my walks I like to make the volunteers laugh by jumping in the water bowl – it�s so refreshing! Everyone tells me I�m a comedian!
