Soi Dog was notified almost a week later when a kind person learned of her terrible condition. She got no medical care during that time. Can you imagine the pain she must have suffered? Nuwan was picked up right away by an Animal Rescue Officer and brought to the shelter for urgent treatment.

Nuwan received extensive treatment and care from the vets at the shelter. Now her wounds have healed but a permanent scar on her front leg is a symbol of her strength and bravery in overcoming this horrible act of cruelty.

Everyone who meets Nuwan falls in love with her, as she is so lovely with people. She loves pats and likes to lean into you to maximise the joy. Nuwan is also a great walker and would make you an awesome companion on all your adventures.

Nuwan would do best in a loving, reasonably active home. She gets along fine with respectful other dogs but would also do fine as an only dog. She has been through so much, so please give her the happy ever after she so deserves.
