Sister and Brother Reunited

Its a beautiful story, though it starts with heartache.

Phoebe and Plato (formerly Phobia and Plantom) came to our shelter in April 2016 at only a couple weeks old. Tragically, their mother had fallen down a well. The kittens were too tiny to survive on their own.

During their year at the shelter, Phoebe and Plato frequently groomed each other and played together. They even had the same endearing habits, like loving belly rubs. In May, Phoebe was adopted by Veronica and travelled to her wonderful new home in Washington, DC. Shortly after her arrival, Veronica contacted Soi Dog with a special request: Could she adopt Plato, too?

Veronica could not bear the thought of Phoebe and Plato being separated and wanted to reunite the siblings as soon as possible. One month later, Plato made the journey to join his sister in the US. Veronica reports that brother and sister are now inseparable playing, sleeping, eating, and frolicking together all the time.

Your donations sheltered, fed, and funded medical care for Phoebe and Plato until they found their perfect home. You make these stories possible thank you! To fund care for other cats in need, please visit http://bit.ly/help-the-soi-cats
