SALUTING OUR NATION AND OUR HOME GROWN LOCAL BREEDS DAVE

Its two weeks to our nations birthday and in honour of Singapores 52 years of independence, we salute our nation and our home grown local breeds. We will be featuring 52 of our local residents who are up for adoption from today right up until National Day week.

Dave was found on the road at Jalan Lekar, with injuries on his legs, in February 2012. He had an orange collar on but despite the lost and found advertisement placed in the newspaper, no one came forth for him.

Daves injuries were treated and he has fully recovered. Seven-year-old Dave is good with people and enjoys his walks. He is however uncomfortable with high energy dogs, though with positive, reward-based training, Dave is learning to stay calm and walk past dogs, at a distance.

If you were like to get to know Dave better and to adopt him, do interact with him at our adoption centre at 50 Sungei Tengah Road (http://spca.org.sg/contact_locateus.asp)
