CEO of WWF-Malaysia, Dato’ Dr Dionysius Sharma shared his experience on turtle conservation at Ma’Daerah Turtle Sanctuary since 1993. He hopes all stakeholders such as Department of Fisheries, Department of Forestry, Ministry of Tourism and others will be able to brainstorm ideas by the end of this Bukit Labohan trip in reviving the beach and the environment, to protect our natural heritage – the marine turtles.
