My life changed forever in early December 2016. My owner in Phuket, Thailand, had an accident and an ambulance came to collect him at our house. I couldn’t understand what was happening! All I knew is that the person I loved most in the world was being taken away. I couldn’t bear it so I ran after the ambulance! All the way to the hospital in Phuket Town.

The people at the hospital say that I waited outside the building for my owner but, unfortunately he died the next day. He had no family in Phuket who could take me in and nothing could persuade me to stop my vigil. I couldn’t understand why he didn’t come find me, so I waited. Kind people at the hospital fed me every day for three weeks while I waited, loyal and dedicated to my owner.

After a while the hospital authorities said that I had to be removed as they couldn’t allow me to live there indefinitely. Luckily a kind lady called the Soi Dog Foundation and the rescue team could come and collect me. I was relieved to find a place where I am safe with food to eat and a warm place to sleep. But it is impossible for anyone to explain to me where the owner I loved has gone.

The people at the shelter named me Loyal after they heard my story. I am a sweet, friendly girl who is about 3 years old. I have a brown and tan coat and big brown eyes. I get along with the other dogs in my run and walk well on the lead. But most importantly of all I have a big heart that is filled with love ready to share with you.

If you are looking for a delightful, dedicated and loving companion who will be loyal to you – look no further! I am your girl! Please don’t leave me here! I long for a home of my own with people to love! Please adopt me!
