PLEASE HELP DOGS LIKE JAKOME

Until a year ago, 8-year-old Jakome had an owner who cared for him. But when his owner died, Jakome was left to fend for himself on the streets. Some kind people in the community took pity on him and began feeding him. One day, they found Jakome extremely ill and severely wounded.

When the Animal Rescue Officer arrived, he learned that Jakome had been vomiting. Now he was struggling to breathe. Jakome also had a terribly deep and painful wound in his left ear. Jakome was transported safely to the shelter. He was sedated as the vets examined him. Jakome was suffering from a lung infection and the wound in his ear was so severe that he would likely need surgery to remove it entirely.
