Starting The Year With Hope

Last year was indeed a very challenging year for us. Almost every month, we ended the month with a deficit (where we had to use a large amount of our reserves to cover the month’s neutering aid payouts). Even at the beginning of every month, we would be on a deficit.

But this year…January has been good…so far (for the first 9 days, at least). We haven’t needed to dig into our reserves yet and this is really, really good.

I guess this is also due to the fact that our neutering aid has been reduced to RM60/cat and RM100/dog but largely also due to the sales of our homemade items.

We started the year with a sale of 7 blankets, 8 applique-bags and now, 48 foldable bags!

My mum and I are practically at the sewing machine all day, but it’s really good to know that we are again able to raise some funds for the animals, and hopefully, AnimalCare will see better days this year.

We must thank all of you for helping – this includes friends who have ordered items from us and also those who help to forward our links and promote our items to their friends and family.

We are really grateful and let’s hope January can end with a surplus of funds!
