Keeping our pet for life is a commitment we make from the day we decide to bring an animal home. It means a long-term commitment of time, money and energy.

With the buzz of the festive season, one may be tempted to give an animal as a gift. But before you do, stop and think again because not everyone is ready for the responsibility and costs of having a pet.
