HALLOWEEN TREATS FOR OUR ANIMALS

In addition to regular enrichment, our animals also enjoy festive treats as shown in our recent cover photo with Deepavali treats.

The tortoises did not miss to chomp on our Halloween pumpkin treats filled with flowers, carrots and grass. When offering food treats for enrichment, it is important to find a balance to prevent any digestive discomfort. Hence, a lot of fibre-rich food such as grass and hay are supplemented with food treats. No, it was not meant to scare them, and these treats have the opposite effect.
