Here’s Newton, our common snapping turtle lazing at the bottom of the water tank. Common snapping turtles are omnivorous, and here you can see Newton patiently waiting for his feed. Common and alligator snapping turtles are also one of the several turtle species, who turn victims to the illegal pet trade in reptiles, in Singapore.
