Trying A Herbal Supplement For Tiger

I consulted with the vet today over Tiger’s seizure yesterday and he thinks it’s still too early to administer barbiturates. Yesterday, I had already consulted another vet and he too thinks it’s too early. In a way, I’m relieved that Tiger need not start on barbiturates yet.

This evening, I noticed Tiger scratching quite intensely. Then, I heard a sound of intense scratching for about 2 seconds. I wasn’t sure if he jerked, but the “intense scratching” was only for 2 seconds. No more. I managed to get to him and gently put him onto a chair. It was then that I noticed he had urinated and there were some splatters on the ground too.

Now, I am really unsure if that was an episode, but if it was, it was much shorter and definitely less intense than what I’d seen yesterday and before this. But he threw a fit just yesterday.

The problem is, I am not monitoring him 24/7 so I’m bound to have missed certain (or even, many) episodes. However, if what happened today was an episode, then it’s definitely much shorter in duration and definitely less intense. The shorter duration and much lesser intensity could be a good thing, but the interval (only one day) may not be. But then again, how many episodes have I missed? I really don’t know…

It’s back to recording and monitoring now. As closely as I can. It’s very tricky, because I could just step out of the room or be out of the line of sight, and I would have missed an episode, what more if I were away at work for hours?

This morning, I also made a judgment call and applied a vial of Advocate spot-on on Tiger. He has been itching a lot and the earlier episodes I noticed were definitely preceded by intense scratching. I have been delaying administering any spot-on because I am very, very reluctant to use these products. I’m hoping the spot-on might address the itching problem, whatever it may be due to.

Meanwhile, one of our readers have been so kind. She has a bottle of EaseSure and she couriered it over for Tiger! Thank you so much!

ease sure

Here are some reviews: http://www.nativeremedies.com/petalive/products/easesure-soothes-nervous-system-cats-dogs.html

I also ordered a bottle just yesterday bu that would take 14-28 days to arrive.

It’s a natural and herbal supplement and I’ve checked with the vet. There is no harm trying it. Furthermore, the reviews are very impressive too.

I hope it will work for Tiger.
