SPONSOR AN ANIMAL AT THE ACRES WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTRE!

For just $1 a day, you can sponsor an animal of your choice and be directly responsible for giving him or her a second chance of a better life at the ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre (AWRC).

There are currently over 150 animals being cared for at the AWRC – all are victims of the illegal exotic pet trade. We can�t release these animals back into the wild in Singapore, as they�re not native. While we plan to repatriate these animals back to their country of origin if possible, this is not a straightforward task, and many will remain in our care.

Caring for all these animals incurs huge costs to ACRES. Many animals are victims of abandonment, neglect and improper care, and require ongoing specialist treatment. Volunteers help greatly with caring for the animals, but we also rely on full-time staff, including veterinary professionals, to ensure that their care is kept consistent and is of the very best standard.

We make sure that as well as rescuing animals, we educate the public about why wild animals are not pets. We are working towards the day when no one will keep wild animals as pets, and there is no need for our wildlife rescue centre.

But for now these animals need the care we provide, and they rely on your generosity to make this possible.
