MAKE SURE YOUR PUPPY OR DOG IS FULLY VACCINATED. You do not want the heartbreak of watching your pet suffer with distemper or parvovirus.
Your puppy should receive her first vaccine at 6-8 weeks of age, and then every 3-4 weeks until she reaches 16 weeks of age. This final puppy vaccine, at 16 weeks, is the most important only then can can you be 99% confident that your pet is fully immunized.
Your dog should receive a booster one year after the initial course of puppy vaccines. After that, the World Small Animal Veterinary Association states that you should vaccinate no more frequently than every three years.
