I narrowly escaped being skinned alive. Now I want nothing more than to find my own forever home. My name is Milly, will you please adopt me?

Please EMAIL all questions to cristy@soidog.org

This is what happened to me. They snatched me from the street. They crushed me into a metal cage with ten other dogs. They hurled hundreds of these cages, all filled with petrified dogs, onto a big truck. We drove in the dead of night towards the border.

It hurt being in the metal cage with other dogs. Where were these people taking me? Why were there so many of us? I could hear the other dogs crying with fear as we travelled through the night, the older dogs unable to cope with the stress and heat during the day. Many died as we drove towards the border – with what lay ahead for us, they were the lucky ones.

When the truck was suddenly pulled over and we were rescued by Soi Dog, I was still scared. I didn’t know who to trust anymore. Now I am getting back to my old self and I am a lovely, friendly girl, however I do long for the day when I am adopted. I see many dogs leaving for their new homes and I hope this will be me soon. I really do.

Can you give me my forever home? I am a girl of approximately 2 years of age and a lovely sweet soul. I am a little shy at the moment of people. You would be too, if you had been through the same experience as me. I come up and sniff you but am still a little hand shy. I am looking for a loving, caring home with someone who understands and can give me the time I need.

Please adopt me. PLEASE EMAIL all questions to cristy@soidog.org
