“WE JUST WITNESSED A MIRACLE”: FROZEN KITTEN BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE

In a profoundly beautiful exhibitions of mercy and human kindness, Justin Bingham refused to surrender death upon a kitten who had become frozen in an overnight snowfall on Bear Lake in Garden City, Utah. Justin spent nearly an hour gently pumping the heart of the creamy white kitten until, beyond belief, that little heart began beating on it�s own.

�Thanksgiving morning we awoke to about a foot of freshly fallen snow,� explains Brandon Bingham who shot the video. �It was exciting and the kids ran right out the front door to play in it. About 30 seconds into the fun my son stumbled over what appeared to be a frozen, lifeless kitten. My younger brother came over and went to touch it, assuming it would be frozen stiff. But the body was still limp. He picked the kitten up and rushed it inside to be by the fireplace.�

As the family gathered around, the room was bursting with hope and anticipation. But as the minutes crept on, members of the family began losing hope, all but Justin who stayed by the fire, pulsing life from his finger tips to the chest of the little one cradled in his hands. He wouldn�t stop. He couldn�t stop.

�I took the kids outside to play and forget about their sad start to Thanksgiving,� said Brandon who came to believe that his brother�s efforts were in vein.

But in the quiet of that living room, that perfect combination of warm fire and warm hands created a stir. The kitten had come back to life.

�When we came back inside I could not believe my eyes,� Brandon said. �I thought to myself, we just witnessed a miracle.�
