I HAVE SPENT NEARLY MY WHOLE LIFE IN THIS SHELTER

Please take me home!

My name is Brick and I have already been through so much. Please email teresa@soidog.org if you can adopt me.

I am a boy of 5 years of age now. I was just 6 months old when I arrived at the Soi Dog shelter in Phuket, Thailand, with a terrible injury to my left back leg. The damage was so bad that it was too late to save my leg and it had to be removed.

I get along just fine on 3 legs, although I don’t go very far on my walks. That’s not because I’m not fit – because I really am – but I am nervous of going too far from my comfort zone.

I really need to get out of the confines of the shelter and go to a kind family where they can show me love and earn my trust and help me to understand that the world is a safe place. Then I could really flourish and and enjoy life.

The volunteers at the shelter all love me and think I would make a wonderful pet. They like to make a fuss of me and I thoroughly enjoy getting hugs and strokes from the people here.

I can be a little territorial with other male dogs, so a home with females or no other dogs would suit me best.

If you think you have that special home to offer me, please email teresa@soidog.org to find out how. I have waited so long for you.

Every week, Soi Dog Foundation sends rescued dogs and cats to new homes around the world. The process is straightforward and we organise every step of it for you. Please email all questions to teresa@soidog.org
