I am just one of thousands of dogs saved from the cruel dog meat trade. We are only alive because of people like you.
My name is Jet and I live in Scotland now. This is my story.
I was snatched from the street and thrown into a tiny cage containing other petrified dogs. It was far too small to hold us all and many of us sustained broken bones and other injuries.
It was just one cage of hundreds, all containing dogs like me and piled high on a horrible truck destined for the border and a Vietnamese slaughterhouse. There, we would be brutally tortured in ways you cannot imagine, before being killed for our meat.
Instead, a miracle happened. Because of people like you responding to Soi Dog’s call for help, our truck was stopped by their undercover investigators and the Thai authorities. We were all rescued. It is a day I will never forget.
We were all transported to a special shelter for the survivors of the dog meat trade. While I was there, all my care and food was funded by people like you, until I got the news that a wonderful lady named Helen, who lived in Scotland, wanted to adopt me.
Here I am, in my forever home. It is a world away from that tiny cage I was found in, whimpering in terror. Thank you Helen for loving me so.
Will YOU please join the other compassionate animal lovers who are fighting to save more dogs like me and end the dog meat trade for good? So much progress has been made, but YOUR support is vital.
Please visit https://savedogs.soidog.org/care now and give whatever you can to shut down the evil dog butchers for good.
I am safe now. Please help the ones who have not been so lucky.
Thank you.
