I HAVE LIVED AT THE SOI DOG SHELTER FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS

I am a girl called Roxie. I am nearly 3 years of age now but I have lived at Soi Dog in Phuket, Thailand since I was just 2 months old.

I have never really seen the outside world and what I did see of it was not very nice. When I was brought to the shelter, I was hungry, thirsty, covered in fleas, and had a bad back leg.

Thank goodness I was found and nursed back to health. I am one of the lucky ones, I realise that, but I deserve a good home now.

I am a friendly girl, although a little shy. Because I am shy, I tend to keep to myself in the run that I share with 18 other dogs. They can make me a little nervous, as they are more boisterous than me. I am not hyperactive or crazy like some, although I am playful with the kind volunteers who come to visit.

I am easy going and walk nicely on a lead. Please come and take me away and show me that the outside world is a nice place where I can flourish into the dog I know I can be.
