NO DOG DESERVES WHAT FINCH HAS BEEN THROUGH
At just 3 years of age, Finch has been blinded. Having grown up on the streets, never knowing a loving touch or a kind word, this beautiful boy was then hit by a speeding car, sustaining such serious injuries to both his eyes that he lost his sight.
It is only thanks to people like you that he didn’t lose his life.
Finch was in agony when he arrived at our shelter. So severe was the damage to his eyes that both had to be removed. Tests also revealed that he is suffering from blood parasites and heartworm and he has now been started on treatment.
It doesn’t bear thinking about how things would have ended for Finch, were it not for the Soi Dog supporters who have joined the Emergency Response Team, funding life-saving treatment for sick or injured animals like him.
Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to rescue this beautiful boy. Without them, we wouldn’t have been able to rescue, treat and re-home the hundreds of animals that are adopted from our shelter each year.
Finch is recovering well from his surgery and, despite all he has been through, is a friendly, affectionate dog, who loves nothing more than to have a few cuddles and give kisses in return.
He is safe now, but as you read this, another dog like him desperately needs your help. Life can be harsh for the street dogs and cats of Thailand and without YOU, we are powerless to change things.
Will you please commit to a small, monthly donation, so that more dogs like Finch can be saved? No amount is too small; every penny will help, but with nothing, we can do nothing.
Please click on the picture of Finch to commit to helping today. YOU are the only hope these animals have.
Every day, Soi Dog Foundation picks up sick and injured street dogs and cats that are in desperate need of medical treatment. With no government funding, we urgently need YOUR support to save them.
