Will YOU Help Her Get The Hospital She Needs?

JUST HOW MUCH CAN ONE DOG TAKE?

It was late at night, in a quiet, rural area when Pandion was hit by the car. She was probably running across the road in search of food, risking her life – as street dogs like her do every day. The car ploughed into her and she stood no chance.

Pandion was brought to our shelter and what happened next shocked us. Released from the cage in which our Animal Rescue Officer had brought her in, Pandion walked headfirst into a wall. As we observed her, a tragic reality dawned – this beautiful girl, only about a year old, was blind.

Pandion needed an x-ray to ascertain if she had any confirmed fractures, but she had to be taken to another practice for this procedure. Our tiny clinic is the same space our vets have been working in since Soi Dog was founded, and it simply doesn’t have all the facilities that dogs like Pandion need and deserve.

The x-ray results stunned everyone, as four foreign bodies showed up in Pandion’s abdomen. During the surgery that followed, they revealed themselves to be four large pieces of wire. We will never know how or why they got there, but cannot begin to imagine how much this girl has suffered.

Please help dogs like Pandion get the hospital they deserve. After everything that the sick and injured dogs of Thailand endure, all we want is for them to have a facility where they can get the care they need and be given a second chance at life.

Construction continues on a dedicated dog hospital, but we desperately need YOU to help complete it, equip it, and keep it running, saving thousands of lives like Pandion every year. YOU can do this by becoming an Angel for Dogs today, playing a vital part in making this hospital a reality.

The dogs of Thailand have suffered enough. It is time to change things. Please help us to give dogs like Pandion the hospital they desperately need. Only with YOU on their side do these suffering animals stand a chance.

Thank you.

Soi Dog’s vet clinic is far too small for the number of neglected, injured and abused dogs it cares for and dogs are suffering and dying as a result. Please donate about a dollar a day to help them.
